Diary entry by my father made on 6.6.2002 |
34
The plough that cleaves the soil
Produces narture
He that bestirs his feet
Completes the journey
35
We have all the world in our hands
We have all the days in our hearts
This is the world tonight
The world has turned once
The world looks different
36
You cannot escape the purpose
That put you here on Earth
What purpose do we beings serve?
By living this life
Of pain and joy
Filled with strife
For our daily bread
37
Grasp the opportunities as they come
Come to hand
Take lessons from nature
Each creature, flower and tree
Fulfills its purpose planned
You were also made for a purpose
I share the pages of one of his diaries here.

This blog is dedicated to the memory of my dear father Jaswant Singh Matharu.
In his twilight years he maintained diaries which are a glimpse into his sensitive soul.
I share the pages of one of his diaries here.
